Amazon Appoints Preeti Tiwari as HR Leader for EU Prime & Marketing

Amazon has elevated Preeti Tiwari as HR Leader for EU Prime & Marketing, expanding her responsibilities within the company after nearly a decade of service across India and Europe.

In her new role, she will lead HR for Amazon’s EU Prime & Marketing business, driving talent strategy, leadership development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Extensive Experience

Preeti joined Amazon in August 2016 as HR Manager in Pune and has since held several leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Principal HR in Luxembourg, a position she held for more than four years.

Earlier, she led Benefits Operations for EMEA, Latin America, and Canada, overseeing employee benefits programs, compliance, governance, and process improvement initiatives.

During her time at Amazon, Preeti has managed large HR teams and supported businesses with thousands of employees. As Senior Manager HR, she led the HR function for Amazon Customer Service sites in Hyderabad and Coimbatore, supporting over 6,000 employees.

She also played a key role in talent management, succession planning, employee relations, and inclusion and diversity initiatives.

Before joining Amazon, Preeti spent more than six years with Schlumberger, where she held HR leadership roles in Abu Dhabi, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Her responsibilities included workforce planning, talent development, employee relations, organizational design, and compliance.

Earlier in her career, she worked with Amdocs, Eureka Forbes, and JSW Steel, building experience across compensation and benefits, learning and development, recruitment, and HR operations.

Preeti holds a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
