Cornerstone India Appoints Padmanabhan S as Partner

Cornerstone India has appointed Padmanabhan S as Partner, with a focus on its Life Sciences and Industrial practices.

He brings more than three decades of experience across human resources, leadership, talent and organisational development in the Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Industrial sectors.

Welcoming Padmanabhan to the firm, Vijay Karkare, Managing Director, Cornerstone India, said that his experience across the Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Industrial sectors would add value to the firm’s work with organisations and leaders in these areas.

Extensive Experience

Before joining Cornerstone, Padmanabhan was associated with ORGRO Solutions as a Leadership Development Consultant, providing consultancy to management teams and company boards.

He previously served as Head of Human Resources at PI Health Sciences from June 2025 to May 2026. Before that, he was Chief Human Resources Officer at MSN Laboratories, where he worked from August 2022 to June 2025.

Padmanabhan spent more than five years with Larsen & Toubro across senior HR roles. His last position was Joint General Manager – Human Resources, Heavy Civil Infra IC.

Earlier, he served as Head – Human Resources (Operations – Global) and Head – Human Resources (Domestic), Power Transmission & Distribution IC.

His earlier experience includes serving as Vice President – HR (Technical & Operations) at Cadila Pharmaceuticals and more than 11 years at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

At Dr. Reddy’s, he held progressively senior HR roles and was Senior Director – HR, overseeing HR for seven API manufacturing facilities with more than 5,000 employees.

He began his career with S R P Tools and later held HR roles at KONE Elevators, Titan Industries and NCR Corporation.
