Jindal Steel Ltd. has appointed Sukhjit S. Pasricha as President & Head – Human Resources, strengthening its leadership team, effective from July 2026.

In his new role, he will oversee Jindal Steel’s Talent and Culture agenda, driving leadership development, talent strategy, organizational transformation, and workforce capabilities to support the company’s next phase of growth and expansion.
Extensive Experience
A seasoned HR leader with more than three decades of experience, Sukhjit S. Pasricha has held several senior leadership roles across aviation, banking, financial services, and telecommunications.

He joins Jindal Steel after serving as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd.) for nearly 4 years. During his tenure, he led the airline’s people strategy, talent management, leadership development, and organizational transformation initiatives for one of India’s largest aviation companies.
Before IndiGo, he was Group CHRO (President – HR) at Kotak Mahindra Bank between 2019 and 2022. He also served as Chief of HR & Administration at Bajaj Finance Ltd., where he played a key role in strengthening the company’s people and culture agenda.
Earlier in his career, Sukhjit spent over a decade with the Bharti Airtel Group, leading HR across multiple businesses, including Enterprise Services, the North Region Mobile Business, and Airtel Africa.
In his international role, he drove HR transformation, change management, automation, and shared services across 17 African countries while partnering with business leaders in nine Anglophone markets.
Sukhjit began his HR career with Vardhman Group before moving to Spice Communications, where he led HR for the Punjab Circle.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Sociology from Panjab University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from GNDU’s Department of Commerce & Business Management.
