Priyanka Sharma Elevated to SVP at Niva Bupa Health Insurance

Niva Bupa Health Insurance has elevated Priyanka Sharma as Senior Vice President & Head – Talent, HRBP & Sustainability.

In her expanded role, she will continue to lead the company’s talent strategy, HR business partnering, and sustainability agenda, supporting organizational growth, people development, and employee-focused initiatives across the business.

Extensive Experience

Priyanka has been associated with Niva Bupa for over four and a half years and has held several HR leadership roles within the company. She previously served as Vice President – Talent Management, Leadership and OD, and Deputy Vice President – Talent Management & OD.

During her tenure at Niva Bupa, Priyanka has worked on talent management processes, leadership development, employee engagement, and well-being initiatives. She has also partnered with business leaders to support workforce development and strengthen organizational culture.

Before joining Niva Bupa in 2021, Priyanka spent more than six years at Schneider Electric, where she held leadership positions in talent management, organizational development, learning solutions, and HR business partnering.

Her responsibilities included succession planning, leadership development, and supporting HR initiatives across multiple regions and business functions.

Earlier, she worked with Amway India Enterprise, Right Management, and also served as an independent HR consultant and trainer. Over the course of her career, she has gained experience in talent assessment, leadership development, employee engagement, learning and development, and change management.

Priyanka holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Delhi University and has completed leadership development programs at INSEAD.
