Tata Electronics Appoints Arti Sharma as VP- HR, FAB Semiconductor

Tata Electronics has appointed Arti Sharma as Vice President – Human Resources for its FAB Semiconductor business. Effective from April 2026.
In this new role, she will lead the people plan for the company’s new semiconductor fabrication project in India. This project is an important part of the country’s effort to build its own chip manufacturing base.
Extensive Experience
Arti brings more than 30 years of experience in HR leadership across manufacturing, technology, and industrial sectors. She most recently worked at Schneider Electric as Vice President – Human Resources for Global Supply Chain India.
There, she handled HR strategy for 21 factories. Her work included talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, and improving digital systems while keeping a strong focus on safety and smooth operations.
Before that, she held several senior roles at Schneider Electric, including VPHR for India. In this role, she worked with global teams and led HR efforts for large technology and innovation groups with over 6,000 employees.
She also worked as HRVP and Talent Manager for Global Marketing in Hong Kong, where she focused on leadership growth and building strong teams across regions.
Earlier in her career, she worked in leadership roles at India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. and Sun Life Financial. In these roles, she supported business planning, helped improve company structure, and set up HR systems for growing teams.
She started her career at Panasonic, building her skills in HR strategy, talent growth, and change management.
Arti has an MBA in Human Resources from Himachal Pradesh University.
