Varun Beverages Appoints Sarabjeet Singh Gujral as CHRO

Varun Beverages Limited (VBL), one of PepsiCo’s largest franchise partners, has appointed Sarabjeet Singh Gujral as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In his new role, Gujral will lead the company’s people & culture agenda, focusing on building a future-ready workforce. He will work closely with the leadership team to support Varun Beverages’ continued business growth in India and international markets.

Extensive Experience

Sarabjeet brings close to 20 years of experience in human resources across the FMCG, manufacturing and agribusiness sectors.

Throughout his career, he has worked in areas such as talent management, industrial relations, leadership development, organisation change, employee engagement and HR technology.

He joins the company after serving as Head – HR at Shriram Farm Solutions, a business unit of DCM Shriram Limited.

Before joining Shriram Farm Solutions in January 2022, Sarabjeet spent more than 11 years with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd.

He held several senior HR roles, including National HR Head – Services HR and Zonal HR Head (North Zone) for Operations and Commercial.

Earlier in his career, Sarabjeet worked in factory HR, sales HR and business HR roles across Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Ghaziabad. He began his professional journey with Abhishek Industries Ltd.

Sarabjeet holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce.
