Ambuja Cements appoints Manoj Kumar Sharma as CHRO

The leading cement company in India, Ambuja Cements has appointed Manoj Kumar Sharma as Chief human resources officer (CHRO).

He has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Ambuja Cements Limited!”

In this role, he will be responsible for Succession Planning, HR Transformation, HR Strategy, Strategic Human Resources Leadership, and Talent Management.

Prior to Ambuja Cements, Manoj was associated with Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd. as Sr Executive Vice President of HR – AEML & Head HR.

He is an experienced HR professional and his specialties include working with various industries. His earlier stints include working with Adani Green Energy Ltd., Adani Power, A&M Resources, Ispat Industries Limited, Aditya Birla Group, and Ranbaxy Laboratory Limited.

He is an alumnus of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan (Affiliated to Rajendra Prasad Institute of Management, Mumbai). He holds his Bachelor’s Degree, Economics and Public Administration from DAV College, Chandigarh.
