The company said the aim is to help organisations move beyond individual or isolated AI projects and connect different technology functions under one integrated approach.

HCLTech Pulse will also focus on AI implementation based on safety and responsible AI practices. The company said the unit will help enterprises adopt AI with greater speed and governance while modernising their existing technology foundations.

Targeting Enterprises with $500 Million-$5 Billion Revenue

The new business unit specifically focuses on companies with annual revenues between $500 million and $5 billion. HCLTech said organisations in this segment have historically had to combine services from different niche providers covering strategy, platforms, implementation and operations.

C Vijayakumar, CEO and Managing Director, HCLTech, said AI is changing the economics of growth and that companies need to rethink business processes rather than only automate existing processes.

HCLTech said Pulse combines its AI, engineering, cybersecurity, data and industry expertise to help enterprises rethink how work is done and convert AI investments into measurable business value.

The company currently has more than 223,000 employees across 60 countries, with consolidated revenue of $14.8 billion for the 12 months ended June 2026.
