Accenture Appoints Shaakun Khanna as MD – Global Talent Reinvention

Accenture has appointed Shaakun Khanna as Managing Director – Global Talent Reinvention, effective August 2026.

In his new role, Shaakun will focus on AI, enterprise and talent reinvention, helping organisations reshape workforce strategies, leadership models and capabilities. He will leverage his experience in human capital management, HR technology and business transformation to prepare enterprises for the changing nature of work.
Extensive Experience
Shaakun brings three decades of experience across human capital management, organisational consulting, leadership development, talent strategy and business transformation.
Before joining Accenture, Shaakun spent more than eight years at Oracle, holding senior leadership positions in HCM and SaaS applications.

Most recently, he served as Vice President – HCM and SaaS Applications Alliances, APAC. In this role, he managed a partner ecosystem supporting more than $500 million in SaaS revenue and worked with alliance leaders across Australia and New Zealand, India, Singapore, China and Hong Kong.
Earlier, as Head – Human Capital Management Strategy & Transformation, Asia Pacific, Shaakun was responsible for growth strategies for Oracle’s HCM SaaS business.
During his tenure, the Oracle HCM business grew by more than five times. He also worked closely with Boards, CHROs and CXOs on HR technology, business growth and organisational transformation.
Prior to Oracle, Shaakun was Country Head at Right Management India and the Middle East, where he led the turnaround of the HR consulting business and built a new team and capabilities.

Earlier, he was associated with IBM Kenexa and served as Country Head – Kenexa India. He launched its consulting business in the country and built a client base that included HDFC, Reliance, Airtel and Aditya Birla Group.
His previous experience includes leadership and consulting roles at Gallup, ManpowerGroup and FranklinCovey, along with a stint at ICICI Bank and earlier sales and marketing roles with Samsung, Tata Internet and Tata Teleservices.
Shaakun has also been associated with SHRM as a Senior Advisor since 2015, where he speaks, facilitates and coaches on work, workers and workplaces.
Shaakun holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Graduate School of Business Administration. He has also completed Strengths-Based Leadership, OD and HR studies at Gallup University, USA.
