BCH Electric Ltd. Appoints Amit Sharma as CHRO

BCH Electric Ltd has appointed Amit Sharma as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective September 1, 2026.

As CHRO, Amit will oversee people strategy, workforce planning, HR policies, employee relations and administration, while working with the leadership team to align HR priorities with business requirements and growth.

Extensive Experience

Amit brings nearly 20 years of experience across HR business partnering, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management and workforce planning.

Before joining BCH Electric, Amit spent nearly eight years with International Tractors Limited, where he most recently served as Associate Vice President & Corporate HR Head.

He handled HR for the Sales and Marketing business of Sonalika and supported sourcing, manufacturing and corporate functions. His responsibilities also included compensation and benefits, payroll, performance management, learning and development, HR digitalisation, corporate HR policies and audits, and leadership hiring.

Earlier, he worked with Escorts Limited for around four years, holding roles including Lead HR Business Partner – Operations and HR Business Partner. His responsibilities covered HR for agricultural machinery, construction equipment, railway equipment, sales, marketing, service, spares and international business.

Amit also worked with Accenture Management Consulting as a Management Consultant, supporting HR strategy, talent management, workforce planning, change management and employee engagement.

He began his career with Bharti Retail Limited (Easyday) and Coffee Day Group, working across store, district and corporate HR roles.

Sharma holds an MBA in Human Resources and IT from IBMT Bangalore, completed in 2007.
