Wipro Appoints Dr. Anil Jain as Managing Partner & Head of India Consulting Hub

IT giant Wipro has appointed Dr. (H.C.) Anil Jain as Managing Partner and Head of its India Consulting Hub and Member of the Consulting Executive Committee globally.

In his new role, Anil will lead Wipro’s India Consulting Hub, focusing on strengthening its capabilities, connectivity and scale.

He will bring together consulting, technology and AI capabilities, while building a diverse talent pool and supporting Wipro’s consulting-led and AI-powered approach for global enterprises.

Extensive Experience

Anil joins Wipro after nearly seven years at Accenture, where he most recently served as Managing Director, CMT Market Lead – Americas and Cross-Industry GCC Strategy & Consulting Global Network. He led the Americas market.

Before that, Anil was Managing Director, Industry Strategy Lead, Accenture Strategy – Global Network and led the Communications & Media Strategy & Consulting business.

Earlier, Anil spent about a year at G4S India as Director Operations (MSS), followed by four years at Jio in business and channel sales leadership roles. He spent nearly six years at Aircel in national sales and corporate marketing.

His earlier career included Alghanim Industries as Head – CRM & Research and Operations Head – Gujarat, Bharti Airtel as National Head – Corporate Marketing, and over nine years at Electrolux Kelvinator in product category and project management roles.

He also worked at Modi Hoover International and Bakelite Hylam. Overall, his career spans more than three decades across management consulting, telecom, consumer businesses, technology, sales, and operations in India and international markets.
