BNY has appointed Ankur Berry as Director – People Team, effective July 2026, adding an experienced HR leader to its people function in India.

In his new role, Ankur will serve as People Business Partner for the COO organisation in India and F&IS organisation globally, leading People, Engagement & Impact initiatives across these businesses.
Extensive Experience
Berry brings over 23 years of HR experience across technology, financial services, insurance, business process services and entertainment.
Before joining BNY, he spent nearly two years at Coforge, most recently as Vice President & HR Head for the Quality Engineering, Enterprise Platforms, Intelligent Automation, and ERP businesses, while also serving as the Location HR Head for Hyderabad.

He supported more than 12,000 employees across locations and key GCC engagements.
Earlier, Ankur was Vice President & Global HR Head at Coforge, including a deputation assignment with Cigniti Technologies, where he handled people integration following the acquisition and led HR for the combined Quality Engineering business.
He previously served as Vice President & Global Head – People & Culture at Digiphoto Entertainment Imaging, where he led HR globally. Before that, he spent over five years with Allstate as Site HR Leader and Head HR for India Operations.
His earlier roles include Group Head – HCM at Fujitsu Consulting India, Senior Manager HR at Polaris, Group Manager HR at WNS, Deputy Manager HR at IBM and Senior Executive at Mphasis.

Ankur holds an MPM in Human Resources, an MA in Defence and Strategic Studies, and a BA in Economics. He has completed programmes from IIM Kozhikode, IIM Bangalore and Kellogg School of Management.
