DCM Shriram Chemicals Appoints Radhika Arora as CHRO

DCM Shriram Chemicals, a major Indian chemical manufacturer and the country’s second-largest Chlor-Alkali producer, has appointed Radhika Arora as Chief Human Resources Officer.

In her new role, Radhika will focus on building leadership, technical and organisational capabilities to support capacity expansion, manufacturing excellence and growth into higher-value segments, while strengthening safety, performance and organisational capability across the business.

Extensive Experience

Radhika has more than 22 years of experience in HR strategy and practices. Before joining DCM Shriram Chemicals, she was Chief Human Resources Officer at Isgec Heavy Engineering, where she served for about two years.

She previously spent over four years with Jakson Group, holding the roles of Group Chief People Officer and Group CHRO.

Before Jakson, Radhika spent seven years at Sony India as Head – Talent Acquisition, OD & Learning, managing initiatives in talent acquisition, organisation development, employee engagement and learning and development.

Earlier, she worked with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for more than eight years as Deputy Manager – HR, OD & Recruitment.

Her work included performance management, succession planning, competency management, career planning and HR technology initiatives, including a performance management system covering 12,000 employees.

She began her career with Spectrum Placements as an IT talent acquisition consultant in Bangalore.

Radhika holds a PGDBM in HR and Marketing from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Management and B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics and Computers from St. Johns Degree College.
