Lumilens Appoints Deepa Subbaiah B as Global Head HR

Deepa Subbaiah B has taken up the role of Global Head- HR at Lumilens, a connectivity platform focused on AI infrastructure and data centre technologies.

In her new role, Deepa will lead Lumilens’ global HR function, covering people management, talent, leadership development, employee relations, and HR operations as the company expands its photonics and AI infrastructure business.

Extensive Experience

Deepa brings more than 25 years of HR experience across technology, engineering, product, healthcare and IT services. Before Lumilens, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Locus, where she led the global People & Culture function.

Before Locus, Deepa was AVP & Head HR – APAC & India at Amadeus, supporting more than 7,000 employees across the region. She worked across workforce planning, HR operations, talent, rewards, HR technology, analytics, DEI, and employer branding.

Earlier, Deepa spent nearly two years at Freshworks as Senior Director – HR (Product & Engineering), supporting more than 1,900 global Product and Engineering employees. She worked on workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership pipelines, restructuring, internal mobility, and reskilling.

She previously spent nearly four years at Cisco as Human Resources Consultant (HRBP) – Engineering, supporting more than 5,500 engineering employees in India.

Before Cisco, she held HR leadership roles at 3M and Wipro, followed by more than five years at GE Healthcare and over seven years at Honeywell Technology Solutions.

Deepa holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Mount Carmel Institute of Management, Bengaluru, and a BSc from Mount Carmel College.
