Former Barclays Head-HR, Aditi Mahadevan Nair Joins JPMorganChase

Former Barclays Asia Pacific HR head Aditi Mahadevan Nair has taken on a new leadership role as Head of Human Resources at JPMorganChase.

In her new position, she will oversee human resources strategy, talent management, and organizational development across key business verticals, strengthening the firm’s workforce capabilities in a rapidly evolving global financial landscape.

Extensive Experience

Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Aditi served as Managing Director and Head of Human Resources for Asia Pacific at Barclays from September 2022 to June 2026. In this role, she led HR transformation initiatives across the region, focusing on leadership development, talent mobility, and workforce planning.

Earlier, Aditi spent nearly 17 years at Citi in multiple senior HR leadership positions. Her roles included Chief Human Resources Officer for India & South Asia, APAC Head of Talent, Learning and Diversity, and HR Head for Markets and Securities Services.

She also held responsibilities spanning rewards, benefits, and business HR leadership across retail banking and operations.

Aditi began her early career at Bharti Airtel Limited, where she worked in management development and HR generalist roles.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources and Finance from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce.
