HDFC ERGO Appoints Priyanka Nayak as Vice President – HR

HDFC ERGO General Insurance, a leading insurance company in India, has appointed Priyanka Nayak as Vice President – HR, Talent Strategy & Employer Brand

In her new role, Priyanka will focus on the company’s talent strategy, employer brand and internal communications, while strengthening the employee proposition and workplace culture. She brings extensive experience in learning, talent development and employee experience from leading organisations.

Extensive Experience

Before joining HDFC ERGO, Priyanka spent around four and a half years with Bain & Company as Senior Manager – Human Resources. She worked on learning and talent initiatives for Bain’s India consulting and business support teams.

Prior to Bain, she was with Nium for around two and a half years as Manager – Employee Experience & Learning. Her responsibilities included employee experience, learning and engagement initiatives across teams and geographies.

Priyanka earlier spent around two and a half years with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as Senior Specialist – Learning & Development. She worked on leadership and learning initiatives for BCG’s India consulting teams.

She spent more than four years with Capgemini as Learning & Development Consultant/HR, working on learning strategy and capability development.

She began her HR career at XL Dynamics India as an HR Executive (Generalist), following a brief stint in client relations at Info Edge India.

Priyanka holds a Master of Human Resource Development and Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), completed in 2016. She also holds a B.Com degree from SIES, Sion.
