KPIT appoints Shashwat Mitra as Head- HR, India

A company that specializes in embedded software, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital solutions, KPIT has announced the appointment of Shashwat Mitra as Head- HR, India.

Shashwat has nearly 17 years of experience. He is a human resource professional with experience in Strategy and Business Partnering for large-scale MNCs.

He is known for ideating and implementing transformational & contemporary HR practices of strategic importance to businesses globally and driving strategic projects and partnering on cultural transformational projects.

Shashwat expertise’s is in forte- Business Partnering for established and evolving businesses, Talent Management, Driving Change, Talent Development, Performance Management, Establishing business practices, HR Analytics and Strategy. He has built regional teams and led them across geography.

He has experience in leading an engineering team earlier & understanding the business from an engineer’s perspective.

Prior to KPIT, Shashwat was a Guest Faculty in XLRI Jamshedpur. Previously, he was associated with AppDirect as Director of Human Resources. He has worked with Cummins Inc., Eaton, and Mahindra Group.

Shashwat is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and also holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
