KPMG India Appoints Debasmita Sarkar as Associate Director – TA

KPMG India has elevated Debasmita Sarkar to Associate Director – Talent Acquisition from her most recent role in Recruitment Delivery & Transformation.

In the new role, Debasmita will continue to focus on recruitment, delivery, and talent acquisition initiatives.

Extensive Experience

Debasmita has over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition. She has been associated with the company for more than four years. Before this elevation, she was part of Recruitment Delivery & Transformation at KPMG India from February 2022 to March 2026.

During this period, Debasmita managed leadership hiring across KPMG India’s affiliates and worked with business teams to improve hiring processes and recruitment outcomes.

Prior to joining KPMG India, she worked with PwC Acceleration Centers for over six years. The role included handling campus hiring, university relations, lateral recruitment, and leadership hiring for advisory and assurance business functions. Debasmita also managed hiring for audit, risk, analytics, consulting, and project management roles.

Earlier, she was associated with Wipro Infotech as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where the focus was on contract staffing and hiring for infrastructure management services.

Previously, Debasmita also worked with Zedpoint Management Services Pvt. Ltd. in recruitment consulting and completed an internship with ITC Limited.

She is an alumnus of International School of Business & Media and St. Xavier’s College.
