L’Oréal Appoints Divya Kohli as HR Director for Malaysia & Singapore

L’Oréal has elevated Divya Kohli as Human Resources Director for Malaysia and Singapore, effective June 2026.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, she is leading HR initiatives to drive talent development, enhance employee engagement, and support L’Oréal’s ongoing growth and success in Malaysia and Singapore.

Extensive Experience

Divya brings over 15 years of extensive experience in human resources leadership across multiple regions and industries.

Before this promotion, Divya served as HR Director and Commercial Excellence Lead for Australia and New Zealand, where she spearheaded HR strategies for the Consumer Products Division (CPD) and the Chief Digital & Marketing Office (CDMO).

Her leadership was instrumental in driving people priorities that enabled commercial success across these markets.

Divya’s career includes significant roles such as Senior HR Business Partner for Malaysia and Singapore, where she developed HR strategies aligned with business priorities and implemented Group projects to support L’Oréal’s Dermatological Beauty and Consumer Products divisions.

She also held senior HR positions at Nestlé, Tata Consumer Products, and Johnson & Johnson, gaining expertise in people analytics, global rewards, performance management, and diversity initiatives.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Engineering from Panjab University.
