TRF Limited Appoints Shubhra Singh as CHRO

TRF Limited has appointed Shubhra Singh as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective September 15, 2026. She succeeds Abhijeet Singh, who has ceased to hold the role.

In her new role, Shubhra will lead the HR function at TRF, covering people management, employee relations, talent management and other human resources activities. Abhijeet will take up another assignment within the Tata Steel Group.

Extensive Experience

Shubhra brings over 20 years of experience with Tata Steel Limited, where she has worked across multiple verticals and HR functions. Before joining TRF, she was serving as Head – HR Business Partner for the Tubes Division at Tata Steel.

She took up the Head – HRBP role in 2023 after serving as Senior Manager – HRBP for around six years. In this position, she worked with business teams on HR requirements and people-related matters for the Tubes Division.

Earlier, Shubhra was Senior Manager – HRM at Tata Steel for more than four years. She had joined the company as Manager – HR in 2007 and spent over five years in the role.

Her experience at Tata Steel covers HR business partnering, human resource management and employee-related functions. Her career has been largely with Tata Steel, giving her experience across different business areas within the steel industry.

Shubhra holds an MBA in Human Resources, which she completed between 2005 and 2007. She also studied at Little Flower School.
