Vedanta Group’s Resonia Appoints Divyanshu Asthana as CHRO

Resonia, the Vedanta Group’s power transmission company, has elevated Divyanshu Asthana to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In his new role as CHRO, he will be responsible for leading Resonia’s human resources strategy, strengthening organisational capabilities, and supporting the company’s growth across its operations in India and Brazil.

Extensive Experience

He brings 14 years of rich HR experience. Divyanshu joined Resonia in March 2024 as Head of Human Resources, leading the company’s people strategy, focusing on leadership development, talent management, organisational capability, and aligning HR priorities with business goals.

Before joining Resonia, Divyanshu spent nearly six years at Godrej Capital as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources. There, he led HR business partnering for the secured lending business, supporting business growth while driving key people initiatives across the organisation.

Earlier in his career, Divyanshu held HR leadership roles across multiple organisations, gaining experience in talent management, organisational development, and strategic HR business partnering.

He holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.
