SKF India (Industrial) Appoints Sujeeth Pai as Managing Director

SKF India (Industrial) Limited, a technology and solutions provider of bearings and units, condition monitoring, and services, has appointed Sujeeth Pai as Managing Director, effective September 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.

The appointment was approved by the Nomination Committee and the Board of Directors on August 11, 2026.

In his new role, Sujeeth will lead SKF India (Industrial)’s operations and drive the company’s profitable growth agenda.

Sujeeth succeeds Mukund Vasudevan, who will take on the role of President for the Industrial Region covering India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East within the SKF Group. The new governance structure separates regional strategic oversight from India-focused operational leadership.

Sujeeth Pai brings over two decades of experience across operations, sales, business development and commercial leadership. He has been with SKF since 2022 having held key sales and operations roles across the organisation.

Before his elevation to Managing Director, he currently serves as Director of Operations for ISEA and the Middle East, overseeing supply chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution across the region.

Previously, he led Industrial India and commercial excellence across India, Southeast Asia and ANZ.

Before SKF, he was Head of Sales & Service at Danfoss Drives and held senior leadership roles at Fluke, Fortive, Tektronix and National Instruments. His experience spans India, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on business growth, P&L and operational leadership.

Sujeeth holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from P.E.S.I.T., Bangalore, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.
