Visa Appoints Kripa Krishnamoorthy as Head- HR, INSA Market

Visa has appointed Kripa Krishnamoorthy as Head- HR, INSA Market, bringing more than two decades of HR experience across financial services, banking, consumer businesses and talent management.

In her new role, Kripa will support Visa’s India and South Asia business on people matters, including talent, organisation design, leadership development, employee engagement, workforce planning and HR initiatives.

Visa’s INSA people role covers India and South Asian markets.

Extensive Experience

Kripa joins Visa from Synchrony, where she served as SVP, Asia Talent Strategy for about two years. She was responsible for Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent and Engagement, and Corporate Responsibility across Asia.

She also worked on talent strategy, organisation design and operating model initiatives for the company’s Asia capability centre.

Before Synchrony, Kripa spent several years in senior HR roles at Citi. She was Director and APAC Head HR, Citi Global Wealth, supporting the wealth business across Asia.

Earlier, she served as Director and Head HR, Global Consumer Banking, South Asia, where she worked across employee lifecycle, talent development, workforce restructuring, employee relations and culture.

She previously held roles including Head HR, Institutional Clients Business & Global Functions, Citi South Asia, and SVP & Head, Diversity, Organisation and Talent Development, Citi South Asia.

Earlier in her career, Kripa was Global Head Human Resources at Firestar Diamond Group for about one year. She also spent nearly three years with Royal Bank of Scotland and earlier worked with ABN AMRO.

At Marico, she began her HR career and worked across India and the Middle East. Her overall experience spans more than 20 years.

Kripa holds an MA in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a B.Com from Ethiraj College for Women.
