Wipro Aerospace Ropes In Mahindra Aerospace’s Karthik Krishnamurthy as Global CEO

Wipro Aerospace has appointed Karthik Krishnamurthy as Global CEO, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the Aerospace Industry across engineering, manufacturing, technology, and operations.

As Global CEO, Karthik will lead Wipro’s global aerospace business as the company brings together the strengths of WIN Aerospace and Wipro Lauak. He will work on growth, customer partnerships, technology, manufacturing, and global teams.

Extensive Experience

Before joining Wipro, Karthik spent more than 11 years with Mahindra Aerospace, where he most recently served as Chief Operations Officer – Aerostructures. His experience at Mahindra covered aerospace engineering, technology, operations and manufacturing.

He joined Mahindra Group in 2006 and held senior roles in aerospace technology and operations. He later became part of Mahindra Aerospace, where he served in leadership positions covering engineering and manufacturing activities.

Karthik was associated with Mahindra Aerostructures for several years and served as Director – Operations before taking on the role of Chief Operations Officer – Aerostructures. In this position, he was responsible for operations within the aerostructures business.

His career spans more than 35 years in the aerospace sector, with experience across engineering, aerospace manufacturing, aerostructures, technology, and operations. His professional experience includes work in both India and the United States.

Karthik holds B.Tech and M.S. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, US.
