Zoom Appoints Arijit Dey as Channel Leader for India & SAARC

ZVC India (Parent: Zoom Communications, Inc, an AI-powered collaboration platform) has appointed Arijit Dey as Channel Leader for India & SAARC.

In his new role, he will spearhead Zoom’s channel strategy, focusing on partner engagement, channel-led growth, and enabling partners to deliver greater customer value through Zoom’s AI-powered collaboration and customer experience solutions.

Extensive Experience

Bringing over 24 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, and strategic partnerships, Arijit joins Zoom from Genesys, where he served as Director of Strategic Partnerships.

During his tenure, he played a key role in driving Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) growth through collaborations with service providers, global systems integrators, and customer experience partners.

Over the years, he has also held leadership positions across telecommunications companies and technology startups, building enterprise businesses and scaling partner ecosystems.

Commenting on the appointment, Jacob Pereira highlighted the strategic importance of partners in delivering Zoom’s innovations to customers across India and SAARC.

He noted that Dey’s extensive channel expertise and experience in building strategic alliances would help partners unlock new growth opportunities as organizations increasingly adopt AI to enhance business outcomes.

Sameer Raje emphasized that businesses in the region are looking beyond productivity improvements and exploring how AI can drive better employee and customer experiences, faster decision-making, and stronger outcomes.
