Berger Paints appoints Samar Banerjee as Group Head- HR for India operations

Samar Banerjee has been appointed as Group Head- HR, Berger Paints India. In this new role, he will be leading the entire gamut of Human resources for India business of the company.

Sameer is an HR professional with two decades of multi-industry, multi-domain HR/ER experience, with expertise in people development processes, handling people challenges, and delivering mission-critical HR results for the business.

In a career spanning 20 years, he has worked across a multitude of industries ranging from Automobiles, Beverages (FMCG), Chemicals & bulk Chemicals, Cement, and Media.

Prior to joining Berger Paints, Sameer has been with Nu-Vista Ltd (Formerly Emami Cement Limited) as Chief Human Resources Officer.

He started his corporate journey with Eicher Tractors and has been associated with many reputable organizations such as Emami, ACC Ltd, Times Group, and PepsiCo, etc.

He is an alumnus of XISS, Ranchi (1993-1995 batch) with a PGDM in PM & IR.
