Advent Appoints Rachita Marwaha as Head – HR, APAC Region

Advent, a leading global professional services and consulting firm, has appointed Rachita Marwaha as Head – HR for the APAC region.

In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the human resources strategy across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on talent transformation, leadership development, workforce planning, and strengthening organizational culture to support the firm’s regional growth agenda.

Extensive Experience

Rachita brings nearly two decades of diverse HR and business experience across leading financial services, banking, and technology-driven organizations.

Prior to joining Advent, she served as Head of People, India & South Asia at Visa, where she led the people strategy for both business and corporate functions and was part of the leadership team. In this role, she played a key part in driving organizational effectiveness and talent alignment across markets.

Earlier, Rachita worked with Axis Bank as Head of HR – Wholesale & Commercial Banking and CoE Lead for Campus Recruitment, Employer Branding, and Diversity & Inclusion, overseeing HR operations for a large employee base across critical banking functions.

Rachita also spent over four years at Tata Motors in talent management and organizational effectiveness roles, contributing to enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

Her earlier career includes roles at Tata Communications and the Tata Administrative Services (TAS), where she worked across product management, strategy, and leadership development assignments.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur (2004–2006) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai (1998–2002).
