Mondelez International Appoints Amit Banati as EVP and CFO

Mondelez International has appointed Amit Banati as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Mondelez International said Amit’s deep financial expertise, proven operational leadership, and extensive global market experience position him well to support the company’s long-term growth agenda and enhance execution across its worldwide business.

As CFO, he will play a pivotal role in shaping Mondelez’s financial strategy, driving sustainable growth, strengthening operational performance, and delivering long-term value for shareholders.

Extensive Experience

Amit joins Mondelez with more than three decades of global experience spanning finance, strategy, and business leadership across some of the world’s leading consumer goods companies.

Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Kenvue, where he helped steer the company’s financial strategy following its separation from Johnson & Johnson.

Prior to Kenvue, Amit held several senior leadership roles at Kellanova and Kellogg Company, including Vice Chairman and CFO. During his tenure at Kellogg, he also served as President of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, overseeing business operations across key growth markets.

Notably, Amit is no stranger to Mondelez. Between 2010 and 2012, he served as President, North Asia and Asia Pacific Strategy at the company, giving him deep familiarity with its business, brands, and global operations.

His career also includes leadership positions at Cadbury Schweppes and nearly 14 years with Procter & Gamble, where he held finance roles across India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other Asia-Pacific markets.
