Jindal Stainless Appoints Kunjal Mehta as Chief Financial Officer

Jindal Stainless, India’s leading stainless steel manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Kunjal Mehta as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 25, 2026.

In his new role, he will be responsible for steering the company’s financial strategy as it enters its next phase of expansion and value creation.
As CFO, Kunjal will oversee the entire finance function, including treasury operations, capital allocation, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, risk management, and strategic finance initiatives. He will play a central role in strengthening financial discipline and supporting the company’s long-term growth agenda.
Extensive Experience and Background
Kunjal brings over 25 years of experience across diverse sectors such as steel, power, ports and logistics, and technology. Prior to joining Jindal Stainless, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Adani Energy Solutions Limited.

During his career, he has also held senior leadership roles at Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Limited, and Essar Steel India Limited.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with extensive expertise in corporate finance, treasury management, fundraising, investor relations, governance, and risk management.
