L’Oréal Appoints Riti Garg as Head – Talent Acquisition, India

Global beauty leader L’Oréal has elevated Riti Garg as Head – Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, India.

In her new role, Riti Garg will lead the company’s talent acquisition strategy, strengthen employer branding initiatives, and drive efforts to attract, engage, and retain top talent across the organization.
Extensive Experience
With nearly two decades of experience in human resources, talent management, learning and development, and organizational transformation, Riti brings a strong track record of building high-performing teams and advancing people-centric strategies.
Before elevation, she served as HR Business Partner for L’Oréal’s Luxury and Dermatological Beauty divisions since June 2023. In that capacity, she partnered with business leaders to drive talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives across key business segments.

Prior to joining L’Oréal in 2023, she served as Head – Talent Acquisition and Talent Management at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, where she led talent and leadership development initiatives.
Earlier, Riti held the position of Assistant Vice President – Talent & Learning at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., overseeing talent, learning, and organizational development programs.
She also spent nearly four years with Pantaloons in senior HR leadership roles, managing talent, performance management, learning, and recruitment portfolios across corporate and retail operations.
Riti’s career also includes experience with Nomura, where she worked as an HR Advisor supporting risk management teams.

Riti Garg holds a PGD in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (Human Resource Management) from XLRI Jamshedpur and a BA (Hons.) in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi.
