MP Birla Group Appoints Manoj Tiwari as Vice President – HR

Manoj Tiwari has been elevated to Vice President – Human Resources at the MP Birla Group of companies.

In his new role, he will lead the Group’s human resources function, focusing on people strategy, talent development, organisational capability, and HR initiatives across its businesses.

Extensive Experience

Before this elevation, Manoj served as Vice President & Head – People & Business Strategy at Birla Corporation, the flagship company of the MP Birla Group. Based in Satna, Madhya Pradesh.

He has been responsible for HR, industrial relations, employee relations, administration, and business partnering, supporting the company’s manufacturing and business operations.

Manoj brings more than two decades of experience in human resources across manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods, and industrial organisations.

Before joining the MP Birla Group, he spent over six years at Wheels India Limited. He most recently served as DGM & Head – Strategic Hiring, Performance, Organisation Design & Culture, Learning & Leadership, where he worked on strengthening hiring practices, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness.

Earlier in his career, Manoj held HR leadership roles at Forza Medi India, Blackberrys Menswear, and Vikas Group. He began his professional journey as a Management Trainee with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

He holds postgraduate qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, Training & Development, and Law, along with executive HR programmes from XLRI and SHRM, and is associated with SHRM, CII, ACMA, and NHRD.
