OPmobility Appoints Samir Pagey as Country HR Director in India

OPmobility, a leading mobility solutions provider, has appointed Samir Pagey as Country HR Director for its Exterior & Lighting business in India.

In this role, he will be responsible for leading HR activities and supporting the company’s people and business priorities across the Exterior and Lighting business.

Extensive Experience

With nearly 20 years of experience, Samir has worked across the automotive, manufacturing, engineering, and technology sectors. Samir joins OPmobility after serving as Director Human Resources and Country HR at HELLA India from April 2023 to June 2026.

At HELLA, he supported three business groups across manufacturing plants, corporate offices, and R&D centres located in Pune, Chennai, and Coimbatore. He worked on people development, succession planning, stakeholder management, and change management initiatives.

Before joining HELLA, Samir spent over nine years with FORVIA Faurecia. He started as Plant HR Manager in 2014 and later became Regional HR Manager, overseeing HR operations for multiple plants in India.

In 2019, he was appointed Deputy Director Human Resources and Site HR Head for Faurecia Technical and Engineering Centre India in Pune. In this role, he supported business leaders and managed HR responsibilities for a workforce of more than 2,000 employees.

Earlier in his career, Samir worked as Deputy Manager HR at General Motors. He also held an HR role at Accurate Gauging & Instruments, where he managed HR operations for the corporate office and manufacturing facilities.

Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Aristalaos Strategic Solutions.

Samir holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Indian Law Society’s ILS Law College, Pune, and an MBA from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune.
