Tata Trusts appoints Nisha Popli as Head- HR

India’s oldest, non-sectarian philanthropic organization, Tata Trusts has appointed Nisha Popli as its new Head- Human Resources, effective 1 April 2024. 

Nisha is result-driven, with more than 18 years of experience directing international Human Resources programs for leading businesses, ranging from the Big Four to leading professional services firms globally. 

She is a creative Human Resources Head experienced in designing and implementing innovative and best-in-class HR, leadership, and talent initiatives with a solution-oriented approach.

Before joining Tata Trusts, she served as Cuemath’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), demonstrating expertise in organizational management.

Previously, she was associated with Moglix as Head- Human Resources. Her role involved strategizing and driving HR best practices across India with a strong focus on aligning Human Capital to short-term corporate objectives and longer-term vision; managing and growing a well-respected team of managers and executives; implementing new systems and developing new processes.

Her previous experiences encompass roles at Future Group India, The Smart Cube, KPMG, and Grant Thornton India LLP, showcasing a diverse professional background.

Nisha started her career working with EY as Executive- Human Resources. Her role involved an employee life cycle; right from talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, policy-making, query resolution, and HRIS to attrition and retention.

She holds her PGDBM, Human Resource from Infinity Business School and completed Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Sociology Hons. from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University.
