Procter & Gamble Appoints Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman

The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) has appointed Shailesh Jejurikar as Chairman of its Board of Directors, effective August 1, 2026. He will continue to serve as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, taking on both leadership roles.

As part of the leadership transition, Jon Moeller will retire from the Board on July 31, 2026, and from the company on August 14, 2026, ending a distinguished 38-year career with P&G.

Announcing the transition, Shailesh Jejurikar thanked Jon Moeller for his long-standing contribution to the company.

Jon’s strategic vision has been instrumental in shaping the company P&G is today. We have benefited from his unwavering courage and his profound care for this institution and its people,” Jejurikar said

Extensive Career Journey

Shailesh joined P&G in 1989 and has been a member of the company’s global leadership team since 2014. During his career, he has held several senior leadership roles across business categories, regions and functions.

He has played a key role in strengthening P&G’s Fabric Care and Home Care businesses across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He has also contributed to the company’s transformation by helping lead strategy and operational improvements across its supply chain, information technology and global business services.

The appointment marks a significant leadership milestone for P&G, with Shailesh now responsible for leading both the company’s executive management and its Board as it continues to focus on long-term growth and operational excellence.
