Tata Cliq CEO Vikas Purohit has resigned: Report

According to media reports, A multi-category e-commerce platform, Tata CLiQ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vikas Purohit has resigned. The announcement was made at a recent board meeting of the company.

As per reports, Purohit is said to have signed an offer from a leading multinational in a non-competing sector to head its India business.

He joined Tata Cliq in November 2016 and worked for the organization for over 6 years. Prior to this, he was working for companies such as Paytm, Amazon India, Tommy Hilfiger, Reliance Brands, and Madura Garments.

However, Purohit did not comment on the movement. He has vast experience in the e-commerce and fashion retail markets.

Purohit is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He completed his bachelor’s in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
