Microland Appoints Vithal Acharya as Chief Human Resources Officer

Microland, a leading AI-first, platform-led, technology infrastructure services company, has appointed Vithal Acharya as Chief Human Resources Officer.

In this new role, Acharya will oversee workforce change, leadership programs, and company culture efforts. His work will support Microland’s worldwide operations and help expand its AI-led infrastructure and AIOps services in more than 100 countries.

Commenting on his appointment, CEO of Microland Limited, Sam Mathew, said Vithal Acharya brings strong HR knowledge and hands-on leadership experience from large global companies. He added that talent strategy and company structure are central to Microland’s next phase of growth.

Extensive Experience

He joins Microland with more than 25 years of experience in IT services, infrastructure, mobility, and industrial businesses. He studied at XLRI Jamshedpur and has worked with GE, HCL, Ola Electric, Sterlite Power, and Greaves Electric Mobility.

Most recently, Acharya was a Partner at Stanton Chase India, where he managed executive hiring assignments for industrial and infrastructure companies. Before that, he led HR teams at Ola Electric and Greaves Electric Mobility, with work focused on company structure, mergers and acquisitions, digital HR systems, and leadership development.

At Sterlite Power, he served as Chief People Officer and helped expand the HR team during several periods of company growth. Earlier in his career, he held regional and global HR leadership posts at GE Aerospace and HCLTech across digital, aviation, finance, and engineering divisions.

Speaking about his new role, Acharya said Microland is entering a key stage as infrastructure services and AI-based operations come closer together. He said his main goal is to create a strong organization with the skills and stability needed to help clients manage intelligent infrastructure systems.
