Schneider Electric India has promoted Arnab Roy as new CFO

Schneider Electric India has elevated Arnab Roy as the new Chief Finacial Officer (CFO) of the company, effective from January 1, 2021. Earlier he was CFO of Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited.

Arnab shall be the finance leader of a specific legal entity within Schneider Electric India, which is Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. (SEIPL), while Sugata Sircar continues to be the overall Chief Financial Officer for Schneider Electric, Greater India Zone (India and South Asia).

Arnab has over 23 years of experience working with the US, British, and French MNC’s handling Finance, Accounts, Tax, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, IT, Admin & Regulatory Issues.

He has done 5 P&L CFO roles over this period with organizations like Schneider, GE, Tyco Healthcare, G4S and Herbalife. Prior to the CFO role worked as Controller for 4 years with US MNC handling the entire Finance & Accounts.

Arnab joined Schneider in March 2017 as CFO for Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited & Finance Business Partner for the Energy business, a listed company responsible for the medium voltage and transformer business of Schneider in India.
