Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles biz HR Head Rajesh Nair resigns

After a long stint of 28 years, Rajesh Nair has resigned from Tata Motors. He was heading business HR for Commercial Vehicles for the Commercial Organisation viz Sales & Marketing, Customer Care and Spare Parts Verticals.

Rajesh had joined Tata Motors as a Management Trainee, worked in different HR, Sales & Marketing functions, and has held several leadership positions that include managing Safari and Sumo brands, heading sales and service for the western region, among others.

He was involved for 18 years in creating and building the Pre-Owned Car Business, Sumo & Safari Brands sales, and headed Sales & Customer Care for Western Region before joining the human resources (HR) vertical.

Nair started his career at Partech Computers as a sales executive after completing his Graduate Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering in 1990. Later, he also earned a Master’s degree in Marketing from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai University in 1993. He also holds a diploma in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur.
