The enhanced collaboration integrates Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex XSIAM platform with Wipro’s CyberShieldSM managed security services, creating a unified offering aimed at modernising security operations centres (SOCs).
The solution is designed to enable proactive threat detection, faster response times, and improved operational efficiency through machine learning, AI, and automation.
AI-Led Security Operations Transformation
The joint MDR offering focuses on consolidating security tools, reducing data silos, and improving signal-to-noise ratios within enterprise environments. By leveraging AI-driven analytics, the platform aims to help organisations detect threats earlier, respond faster, and minimise the impact of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.

According to the companies, the solution enhances analyst productivity by filtering low-priority alerts and prioritising high-impact threats. This allows security teams to focus on critical incidents while automation handles routine detection and response workflows.
The offering is powered by Wipro Intelligence™, along with its AI delivery platforms WEGA and WINGS, which support workflow orchestration, service transition, and large-scale automation across security operations.
Leadership Perspective
Commenting on the partnership, Satish Yadavalli, Global Business Head – Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services at Wipro Limited, said that the growing complexity of AI-driven threats requires stronger governance and cost-efficient security models.

He noted that the collaboration with Palo Alto Networks enables organisations to modernise security operations through AI-led transformation and platform consolidation.
From Palo Alto Networks, Simone Gammeri, Senior Vice President and Chief Partnership Officer, emphasised that “AI-manufactured attacks require AI-powered defence,” highlighting that the joint solution helps customers reduce detection and response times from days to minutes while improving overall threat resilience.
Global Delivery and Real-World Deployment
The MDR services will be delivered through Wipro’s eight Cyber Defense Centers (CDCs), supported by its proprietary SOC GURU (Grand Unified Runbook Unleashed) framework. This model enables attack-agnostic analysis and adaptive response strategies aimed at strengthening SOC performance.
The companies also highlighted an early deployment with a European gaming and entertainment organisation, where the solution reportedly improved operational productivity, reduced response times, and optimised security costs in a complex enterprise environment.
Growing Demand for AI-Driven Cyber Defence
The expanded partnership reflects increasing enterprise demand for integrated, AI-first cybersecurity solutions as organisations face expanding digital attack surfaces.
With this collaboration, Wipro and Palo Alto Networks aim to position themselves at the forefront of next-generation security operations powered by automation, intelligence, and platform convergence.
