IndiGo Appoints Kiran Thadimarri as Chief Financial Officer

InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, has elevated Kiran Thadimarri as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective July 28, 2026. Thadimarri, who previously served as Deputy CFO.

He succeeds Gaurav Negi, who will move into an advisory role after serving as the airline’s CFO since 2022. The appointment was approved by the company’s Board as part of its leadership succession plan.

Commenting on his appointment, Kiran Thadimarri said that he is honoured to begin his journey as Chief Financial Officer of IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd.). He thanked the company’s Board and management team for the warm welcome.

Extensive Experience

Thadimarri is a long-time finance leader within InterGlobe Enterprises. A Chartered Accountant with more than 24 years of experience, he has built expertise across financial planning and analysis, treasury, taxation, investor relations, capital raising, business finance and controllership.

Earlier in his career, Thadimarri held senior finance leadership roles at Udaan, Genworks Health, General Electric (GE), and Wipro. Across these organisations, he gained extensive experience in financial planning, business strategy, governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and operational finance.

During his more than two decades at Wipro and GE, he played a key role in driving financial transformation, supporting business growth, and strengthening corporate finance functions.

His broad experience across technology, healthcare, and digital commerce sectors has equipped him with deep expertise in leading finance organisations through periods of expansion and change.
