Procter & Gamble elevates Ratul Ghosh as VP-HR and CHRO, APAC

Ratul Ghosh has been elevated to Vice President-Human Resources (CHRO), APAC at Procter & Gamble, taking charge of the company’s people and organisation strategy across the region.

In his new role, Ratul will oversee HR across 10 APAC markets, including ASEAN, Japan, Korea and Australia. He will work with the APAC Executive Board and support HR talent development across the region.

Extensive Experience

Ratul brings more than 21 years of experience with Procter & Gamble, with HR leadership roles across Asia, India and the US.

Before taking up his current role, Ratul served as Vice President-Human Resources (CHRO), Japan, where he led the HR function for P&G’s Japan business and was part of the country’s Executive Board.

Earlier, he was Senior Director-HR, Pampers and Marketing Function, Asia Middle East Africa, supporting the Babycare and Marketing functions across more than 15 markets.

He also served as Senior Director-HR (CHRO), Korea and Regional Employee Relations Head, Asia Middle East Africa, handling HR for Korea and Employee Relations across the wider region.

Ratul previously worked as Associate Director-HR for Global SK-II, Beauty Care, Japan, and Global HR Lead, R&D Grooming, USA, supporting brands including Gillette, Venus and Braun.

His earlier P&G roles included Country HR Head-Supply Chain, India and Egypt, Regional Talent Practice Head, Japan and Korea, Talent Practice Head, India, Plant HR Head and Customer Team-Sales HR, India.

Ratul holds a Master’s in Economics from Delhi School of Economics and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Delhi University.
