Solar PV manufacturer Saatvik Solar has appointed Arindam Chakraborty as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

In his new role, Arindam Chakraborty will lead Saatvik Solar’s people strategy, driving talent acquisition, organisational development, leadership capability, workforce planning, employee experience, and culture to support the company’s expansion and long-term business growth.
Extensive Experience
Arindam Chakraborty is a seasoned human resources leader with nearly three decades of experience across renewable energy, automotive, manufacturing, FMCG, aerospace, and business services.

He has led enterprise-wide HR transformation, organisation design, leadership development, talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, and culture-building initiatives for several leading companies in India.
Before joining Saatvik Solar as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chakraborty served as Senior Vice President and Head – Global HR at Vikram Solar, where he played a key role in organisation restructuring, large-scale workforce planning, leadership capability building, ESOP implementation, and talent strategy during the company’s growth and IPO journey.
Earlier, he held senior HR leadership positions at Ashok Leyland, Royal Enfield, Eicher Polaris, Aviotech, Britannia Industries, Genpact, Coca-Cola India, Mitsubishi Chemicals PTA India, and Shaw Wallace Ceylon.
He has extensive experience in building organisations from the ground up, leading HR transformation, strengthening employee experience, and aligning people strategy with business growth.
Arindam holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
