The Standard India Appoints Neeti Khanka as Head – Human Resources

The Standard India, the India arm of US-based insurance, retirement and investment solutions provider, has appointed Neeti Khanka as Head – Human Resources as part of a broader leadership team announcement following the launch of its Bengaluru office earlier this year.

In her new role, Neeti will lead The Standard India’s people strategy, focusing on talent, organisational growth and large-scale people transformation aligned with the company’s business priorities.

Extensive Experience

Neeti brings more than two decades of HR leadership experience across global markets. Before joining The Standard India, she was associated with Infosys BPM, where she most recently served as AVP and Global Head – Talent Acquisition and DEI & CSR.

During her tenure, she led talent acquisition across India, EMEA and APAC while also driving HR transformation and automation initiatives.

She has also headed HR for Infosys BPM’s Europe and Africa business and led global compensation and benefits, HR integration and talent planning functions.

Her experience in building global teams and leading HR transformation is expected to support the company’s continued expansion in India.

Other Key Leadership Appointments

The company has made a few more key appointments across technology, finance, talent acquisition, administration, communications and the Chief of Staff office to support its next phase of growth.

The new leadership team will focus on operational excellence, governance, talent development and enterprise support, strengthening the GCC’s role in driving the company’s global operations.

  • Manishekaran Amalasekharan – Head of Finance
  • Sanjay Pathak – Chief of Staff and India Site Operations Lead
  • Aditya Pal Singh – Head of Talent Acquisition
  • Santosh Varier – Head of Administration
  • Neeta Sharma – Head of Communications

“The launch of our Bengaluru Global Capability Centre marked an important milestone in The Standard’s 120-year history. As we scale in India, strong local leadership will be critical to execution, culture and growth,” said Mohua Sengupta, Senior Vice President and Country Head, The Standard India.

“This team brings technical depth, operational expertise and a people-centred mindset. As India takes on greater ownership, our focus is on building resilient, high-performing teams that deliver impact at scale,” she added.
